This time it was with Adobe Premier.
I have encoded many video files previously with no problems. Everything was in tact.
This time, I seemed to get problems with the video format I wanted to Export.
I wanted to have it in standard MPEG2 format with 16:9 widescreen at resolution (1024 x 576) which included the audio.
I exported the Premier Project file like I have previously done with other projects but this time the audio was exported separately as you can see in the above image (mouseTransformer.m2v & audio mouseTransformer.mpa) which both work fine...but separately.
I then Exported the project into a standard MPEG file (mouseTransformer.mpg) which came out fine; with audio and video in tact and synchronised; but when I try to turn down the audio, nothing happens. Only if I "mute" the audio from the windows Volume Control panel, only then the sound stops. I also uploaded this file to YouTube, but the video was slightly corrupt in some place and the audio was also corrupt as it didn't sound anything like the soundtrack I have applied.
So I created a Uncompressed .avi file which was over 5GB in size; so I finally opted for the compressed .avi file (mouseTransformer.avi), which is almost 500mb in size. It works perfect if opened with Windows Media player. Also works with KMPlayer and various other programs I have opened the file with.
The only problem I had with that file is when uploaded it online. It seemed to compress to a 4:3 aspect ratio and not 16:9.
